So with all of the crying, I really put my new eye liner to the test.
A few weeks ago, my friend Cristina posted THIS and it got me thinking about how stale my makeup routine is. I always use a pencil liner and insist that this is the best option for me. Like Cristina, I love makeup. It's no secret. In fact, I spend lots of time in Rite Aid (and now Walgreens) looking at makeup options. (lately, it's been with Melissa after we've gone to get Dunkin Donuts) So this weekend after being inspired by Cristina I picked up this liquid liner.
I really like it. And after all the crying yesterday, it held up well. I mean, it needed to be freshened but it was good when all was said and done. In the afterglow of my makeup enlightenment, I was in Walgreens last night and decided I would follow Cristina's lead and got the powder eyeliner. I tried it this morning. Love it. Love it. Love it. I recommend trying something new in your makeup routine too. It almost makes it exciting to get up and get ready for work.
Thanks Cristina for the inspiration!

Powered eyeliner? I'll try it next time I'm in the makeup isle. Thanks.
Very nice I'm pleased that these worked. I like that powder liner business...I'll be investigating shortly.
I have switched over to mineral powder foundation and won't go back to my liquid unless absolutely necessary.
I'm a big fan of liquid eyeliner, but the powdered one looks interesting. I'll have to give it a try.
That is the eyeliner that I use! I do really like it, but I know that I need to refresh if I am going out at night.
How did you get the powdered eyeliner to work? Mine was all uneven and yuck looking Ive tried several times but it never looks right
Anonymous--I use a good eyeliner brush instead of the one that came with the makeup. With the good brush it made it easy to follow the lash line.
