Weekend Doodles (Giveaway)

This weekend I am doing a whole lot of relaxing. I went to a play last night on campus and today I'm spending the day cleaning, doing laundry, scanning photos and catching up on celebrity gossip magazines. Oh, and watching the Season Finale of The Tudors. Tonight I'm hanging with my girl, Cristina at her house. She's making some pizza and we'll probably play a little Rummy 500 or watch a movie, OR we'll complete our plans for world domination. You never can tell with us.

I've decided that it's time for me to have another little giveaway. It's nothing fancy but I think both of these things are fun and useful. One is a cute notepad (from Real Simple) to hang on the refrigerator. (it has two columns...to do and to buy) and the other is a set of Vera Bradley note cards in Medallion.
The envelopes. Cute huh?Leave a comment and share the best thing you are doing/did over the weekend and I'll do a drawing on Tuesday night.
Have a great weekend!

hmmm the best thing I'm doing this weekend? I think I already did it and that was eating a local resturant that serves the best Chicken Fried Steak I've ever had. They've been around since 1947.

I had the best day ever!! My 15 month Grandson came to visit. We played peek-a-boo, hide and seek, had story book time, had a messy lunch, played ball, had a nap, looked for birdies out the window, hide under a blanket, played with Grandpa, had a few diaper changes, brushed his 7 teeth, listened to his gibberish, watched him climb the stairs, blew kisses, giggled, ate crackers and Nilla wafers, ran around the kitchen island, and lots more. Grandson is still playing. Grandma is tired.

These are fun and cute. Maybe I'll try a VB on for size around my bday this summer. People DO change.
This is turning out to be a great weekend: resolved a big (small) problem, hung out with GL&P top brass tonight, and entertaining parents tomorrow. Good show.

Best part of my weekend was when I attempted to explain what the Superbowl is to Ryan. I told him about the 2 teams playing and asked him who he wanted to win. He thought about it, then said, "I just want SU to win". That's my boy! Made me proud. Then I broke it to him that Syracuse football will never be in a Superbowl, much less a BCS bowl game.

This weekend I had lunch with real-life and fellow blogger Ms. Attitude at Olive Garden. We were definitely there for 3 and a half hours! We had so much fun!

The highlight of my weekend is the exact moment. Mark took Brodie out and Lucy is napping. It's perfectly silent in my house right now and I am as close to alone as I get these days. It's wonderful. Oh, and I went to church today. It was my new year's resolution. ;)

The best thing I did this weekend was go to a surprise 40th birthday party for a friend. I love surprising people with happiness and being able to be a part of that joyous occassion. It was a chance to meet new people, and share in good company, good food and a nice glass of red wine.

Glad you had a nice weekend with friends too!
