This has been a very nice weekend. My friend Jill's bridal shower was on Saturday night. I have to say that it was probably one of the BEST showers I've been to. It was hosted by Jill's friend that she dog walks for. She did an amazing job with the food. It was an evening shower so it felt more like a party than a shower. There were no games (Jill's not a game playing kind of bride). Jill has some nice people in her life and it was fun to see them all come together to celebrate her. I uploaded the pictures out of order so just go with it.
This is the most delicious cake. It was made by Jill's best friend (and Maid of Honor), Ashley's mom.

The invitation was made by Caitlyn (one of the bridesmaids). She painted the picture and had it made into the above invitation. She did a fantastic job!

After Jill opened all of her presents, her mom gave all of us these cute bags to use for the wedding in July. It's so thoughtful.

The favor was lip balm. Jill always has her lip balm and this one goes along with the shower theme.
Although Jill doesn't do the usual "bridey" stuff like shower games, we did make the bonnet and bouquet for her. She's a good little bride!
It was a lovely night and it makes me SO excited for the bachelorette weekend in June and, of course the big event...the wedding in July. I'm so happy for Jill and hope that she had a great shower.

What a fun shower! Everything looked so cute! I love when bridal showers are gameless! I always dread the shower games! :)
