Although I work with college students now, and I don't really have to do these kind of projects anymore, I still find myself volunteering to do things like tracing and cutting out 75 stockings for a "Fill-A-Stocking" project that will be happening soon. The students looked at me like I was nuts when I said I'd make them, but I assured them it was no problem. And it wasn't. It's a perfect TV watching project. (I know...I'm lame)
It makes me think of the good 'ol days of student teaching and door tags. awww, the memories.
So, the moral of this story...if you need a bunch of things cut out of construction paper, I'm still your girl.

It's so nice of you to volunteer! I don't think it is lame at all, I love to have a project to do while watching tv...
That's funny - for me, cutting, gluing, or anything assembly-line or even crafty is only fun for about 5 minutes. Like coloring, I don't like coloring books either. I dunno why. I will admit it's much better if I have company. But I'm glad there's people that do love like it. You have special magic.
I have two works for you Ellison machine!
Yeah, I like the Ellison but I still like doing it the old fashion way too. It's fun for me. :)
Cute stockings! I agree, crafts are cathartic (sp?)!
I just happened by your site and I am an elementary teacher (third grade). I should definitely just send my cutouts your way! Haha!
